Tucked away in Sai Kung Country Park, embark on an adventure in search of remote islands and untouched beaches. Explore the Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark. Paddle through peaceful mangroves and exciting sea caves.
Depending on weather conditions and the group/individuals’ ability, we can explore different areas of the HK UNESCO Global Geopark.
Best times of year are from March through to October when seas are generally calmer. Other times of year can be fine, but less reliable. In the event that conditions are not favourable, we can reschedule the tour.
This paddle is of moderate difficulty overall, but it can be easy some days and very challenging on others depending on climatic conditions and your abilities / preference of distance.

- Ample time to enjoy the many beaches and rock formations on show (The itinerary is very flexible)
- We leave it to you to arrange your own food for the day
Regular Itinerary would be as follows:
9:00 Gather in Hang Hau, then depart
10:00 Arrive at launch beach and prepare to kayak
10:10 Begin Paddling. Paddling time and route is variable based on your ability, speed and sea conditions. We will explore beaches and hopefully some caves if possible too. Enjoy packed lunch (Bring your own lunch) on beautiful beach.
15:00 > 16:00 Finish paddling
16:00 > 17:00 Journey back to the city
